16th Century Border Reivers

T

he Border Reivers were light horseman who operated as cattle thieves on the Anglo/Scottish border during the late 16th and 17th centuries.

It is expected to us another two years to equip a small team of riders and foot men in fully functional, historically accurate replicas of late 16th century costume and equipment.

This is because a lot of the equipment is hard to come by. The wheel lock pistols used by the Reivers are especially very hard to come by, and must be custom made generally by European gunsmiths. These are by far the most complicated and expensive items of this portrayal and have a very lengthy construction time.
